The Nepalese Duo

Two Nepalese Ladies who are qualified as registered nurses in Nepal and Hong Kong decided to serve high standard Medical Aesthetics Treatments in Hong Kong. Their aesthetic clinic ‘The Innovate Aesthetics’ has only been operated since April 2018 has offered a valuable option among ethnic minority and expat communities.

Qualifications, Experience and Career

Manisha Gurung and Resham Gurung have called Hong Kong their homes for almost a decade, they are registered nurses in Nepal and Hong Kong. Both had worked in hospitals before working for a medical aesthetic institute in Hong Kong where they met. During the (four to) eight years working experience in the medical aesthetics industry, they were trained and qualified in performing aesthetic treatments and devices, assisted doctors as well as followed up with patients. They are amazed that nursing qualification and experience have perfectly positioned themselves to pursue this dream career.

‘Treating people with skin conditions or skin concerns bring me joy and strong sense of accomplishment! Most of the time my clients wouldn’t believe these conditions could be fixed so easily, we are so thrilled with their progress!’ Manisha said.

‘We were working in aesthetic industry for a long time. We realized that it is time to do something of our own and help our Ethnic Minorities in Hong Kong to achieve the best skin. So, we have decided to start our own Aesthetic Clinic.’ Resham said. But to their surprise, The Innovate Aesthetics is also well received among Hong Kong Expats too.

After launching for a month, we received a few inquiries from the expatriates. Then we realized they went to clinics in Central only because they thought Central was the only place offers English speaking staff. We are actually the hidden gem that provide better service at reasonable price in Kowloon with no language barrier.’ Resham explained.
